Whipped Peanut Butter Buttercream

Peanut Butter and chocolate… chocolate and peanut butter… it’s the perfect pair, always.  My very favourite is chocolate cake with peanut butter icing.

This recipe makes enough for the middle layer of a cake or one single layer 8-inch cake. Hgihly recommend our Yogurt and Olive Oil Cake with this peanut butter frosting middle and a top layer of Whipped Chocolate Buttercream.  So good!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Donia Farms Sea Salted Butter Softened to Room Temperature
  • 1/2 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter (such as Kraft) Room Temperature
  • 1 1/2 Cups Icing Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl with a hand mixer or a stand mixer, whip together the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla. Slowly add in the Icing Sugar. Continue to whip for 2 minutes or until Frosting is light and smooth!
