Whipped Chocolate Buttercream

Chocolate Buttercream is our family’s very favourite. It’s easy to make, creamy and buttery. When making the icing, make sure your butter is room temperature, and your chocolate has melted and cooled to room temperature as well.  Pair it with any cake, you won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients
  • Cup Donia Farms Sea Salted Butter Softened to Room Temperature
  • 1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips Melted and Cooled
  • 3 Cups Icing Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp Donia Farms Grass-Fed Milk

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl with a hand mixer or a stand mixer, whip together the butter, chocolate, and vanilla. Slowly add in the Icing Sugar. when you have added all the icing sugar, add the milk, one tbsp at a time until desired consistency. Continue to whip for 2 minutes. Frosting will be smooth and silky!
