Savoury French Toast

A twist on your sweet french toast! This savoury french toast is made with eggs, Grass Fed Heritage Milk & Butter, parmeson cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Serve it topped with avocado, a drippy egg and bacon! We also love some fresh tomatoes and a sprinkle of cheddar.

Ingredients
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Donia Farms 3.25% Grass-Fed Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Dry Mustard
  • 3 Tbsp Donia Farms Grass Fed Butter
  • 6 Pieces bread

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and dry mustard.
  2. Over medium heat, melt 1/2 Tbsp of butter. Soak 1 piece of bread in the milk-egg mixture at a time and then transfer to a hot butter skillet. Cook for 2 minutes on the first side and about 1 minute on the second side. Outside will be brown and cooked.
  3. Repeat this with the remaining pieces of bread. Be sure to whisk the egg mixture between each dunk to ensure cheese and spices to not settle to the bottom. Continue adding butter to the hot skillet when cooking the bread.
  4. Serve with a pat of butter, avocado, and a fried egg. Optional adds: Tomatoe and cheddar cheese!
