Another name could be crepes? Thin pancakes? Donia Pancakes? Whatever you’d like to call them, they’re delicious! And super simple. We’re sharing this recipe as an ode to #WorldMilkDay helping you sneak some delicious nutrition into your day with milk. These pancakes are popular in the Netherlands (where our family originates from) with entire restaurants serving only pancakes! The menu is organized by sweet and savoury. These Dutch pancakes are the perfect canvass to create your meal masterpiece! Make your Pannakoeken your own with these ideas rolled up inside:

Savoury ideas: cooked bacon and Gouda cheese, sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms or peppers and onions

Sweet ideas: maple syrup, icing sugar, brown sugar, berries and whipping cream, banana and Nutella

Really…the possibilities are endless!

The recipe is also very adaptable to double or triple for a crowd, but you might want a couple pans going. You could also add in some whole wheat flour or ground flax seeds to increase nutrition even more. Recipe yields 6-8 pancakes.

Regardless of how or when you enjoy these pancakes, we hope you love this recipe!
