Afternoon Lime Cake

Are you at home with kids? Involve them in the kitchen! We can’t think of anything better than Chef Craig Scherer’s  Lime Cake that is specially labeled for the afternoon. This Afternoon Lime Cake is easy to make with your kids and the PERFECT afternoon snack!

“I love involving my kids in the kitchen, and this quick and easy cake is fun to make together,  and even better to eat together as an afternoon snack.

I am not a big dessert eater, and when I do, I always look for the most tart or sour thing on any menu, and my son is the same way. We both agree that this lime afternoon cake is the perfect balance of sweet and sour.

This cake would be awesome topped with June strawberries or other summer fruits and berries, with the added sweetness complementing the tart.”
