Harvest Loaf

Harvest is a busy time of year around the farm. The leaves start changing and we start to crave warm flavours! This Harvest Bread ticks all the boxes when it comes to a harvest time snack with apples, pumpkin and cinnamon.

Make with or without nuts, and serve it sliced with a generous smear of butter or peanut butter!

Ingredients
  • 1 /34 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Medium Apples Shredded
  • 2 Tbsp Donia Farms 3.25% Grass-Fed Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Peacans Optional
  • 2 Eggs Beaten

Instructions
  1. In Large Bowl Whisk Together Flour, Baking Soda, Spices and Sugars.
  2. Add in Melted Butter, Pumpkin, Shredded Apple, Milk and Beaten Eggs. Mix until Just combined. If using, fold in nuts.
  3. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  4. Enjoy Sliced with Butter or Peanut Butter!
