Switch up pasta night with this Creamy Bacon Pesto Pasta. This pasta sauce comes together so easily and quickly. It’s indulgent and so delicious!

Creamy Pesto Sauce
1/4CupDonia Farms Sea Salted Butter
1Clovegarlic(2 tsp minced)
1 1/4Cup Donia Farms 3.25% Grass-Fed Milk
2 - 3Cups Spinach
1.5CupsReserved Pasta Water
1/2TspSaltOr to Taste
1/4Tsp PepperOr to Taste
Parmesan Petals/ Shredded ParmesonFor Topping
Heat Oven to 400. Line baking sheet with parchment or foil and arrange bacon in strips. Cook for 14 - 18 minutes or until desired crispness.
While bacon is cooking, boil your pasta water and cook pasta according to cooking instructions. Be sure to reserve pasta water once cooking is completed for the cream sauce.
Start the Cream Sauce: Add the butter to a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute until fragrant.
Whisk in the flour. Slowly add in the milk, whisking constantly until a thick sauce forms. Add in Pesto and grated parmesan. and stir until combined. Reduce heat to low until pasta is done cooking.
When your pasta is done cooking, add 1.5 cups of pasta water to the cream sauce with the spinach. Return the sauce to a medium heat and stir until water has been incorporated and spinach has wilted. Add in Salt and Pepper. Remove from heat.
*Toss your pasta with a bit of butter so the noodles do not stick*
When the bacon is done cooking, pat the grease with paper towel, and roughly chop.
Toss your pasta with cream sauce and bacon. Top with Thick Shredded Parmesan and serve immediately.
