Instant Pot Chicken Pot Pie

A crustless chicken pot pie made in less than 30 minutes. Enjoy all the comfort flavours made quickly in your instant pot!

We love a creamy dinner, and this pot pie is no exception. Pair it with some fresh buttered bread or whip up some of our Garlic and Chive Biscuits.

Garlic Chive Biscuit

Homemade biscuits are way easier than you would think and these Garlic Chive Biscuits will not disappoint! Serve them on their own or alongside your favourite soup!

Grandma’s White Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Grandma’s White Velvet Cake is easy and delicious. Don’t tell Grandma, but we made a couple of tweeks to her original recipe, like adding in 1/3 cup of Vanilla Yogurt to get an extra moist crumb cake.  Our favourite part about this recipe is reading her old recipe cards. She has things like, “beat for 2 minutes, or 300 strokes by hand.”  300 strokes are definitely making this cake with LOVE!

The cake comes together with pantry staples and is topped with the most delicious and not too sweet Cream Cheese Butter Cream Icing.

Chocolate Yogurt Fruit Dip

My kids are not big on fruit, but if it involves a chocolate dip? That’s a different story. The dip comes together with just yoguty, cocoa powder and maple syrup. To make it fun for serving, try the fruit on kababs! The favourites for this dip are strawberries and bananas. This dip is also delicious with graham crackers.

Golden Milk

Golden Milk… made better with Heritage Grass-Fed!

If you want to sleep like a baby, sip our Golden Milk before bed! Turmeric and Cinnamon are said to reduce inflammation, improve your immune system and much more. We can think of a better time to make this.

Vanilla Pear Scones

Pears are so good and we don’t use them to much in baking… this fall we’re changing that! Try our Vanilla Pear Scones!

The trick with scones is to use COLD butter. And to use good quality butter. Our Grass Fed Heritage Butter is your answer. We like to take the very cold (or even frozen!) butter and grate it with a cheese grater, and then work it into the flour mixture with our hands. Give it a try! you don’t need a pastry cutter, but that also works!

Sheet Pan Cookies with Halloween Candy

Sunday baking made easy with leftover Halloween candy! These sheet pan cookies are one-bowl and come together in 30 minutes from start to eat. Any chocolate-based candy is good, but we are extra fond of Peanut M & Ms and Peanut Butter Cups… so good!

Make them with your littles today, and enjoy them with a tall glass of milk. Or, use up that Halloween candy and bring it into your work lunchroom… they are bound to be a hit!

My Favourite Creamy Tomato Pasta

This is my favourite pasta sauce. It’s creamy, tomato-y, and herby. It has just the right amount of richness and comes together in minutes. Heritage Grass Fed Butter & Milk, cherry tomatoes, pesto, chilli flakes… all topped with fresh basil.  Its good with any pasta noodle. Pick your favourite and cook it up!

Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit Dip

Does your after-school snack look this good? Or this nutritious?  Try our Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit Dip! Just 3 ingredients whipped together, Heritage Vanilla Yogurt, smooth peanut butter and a touch of honey. We love to serve this ‘charcuterie style.’ Its sure to be a hit among kids and adults for a healthy snack.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo Chicken Dip is always a hit, especially on Saturday night or Sunday Football. Bonus, this one is packed with protein and a bit healthier than most! It SO easy to make, and all you need is Heritage Natural Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Shredded Chicken, Franks Buffalo Sauce, and some Cheddar and Blue Cheese for Topping. Serve it with tortilla chips and some carrot sticks.  Delish!

Harvest Loaf

Harvest is a busy time of year around the farm. It’s always around the time the leaves start changing and we start to crave warm flavours! This Harvest Bread ticks all the boxes when it comes to a harvest time snack with apples, pumpkin and cinnamon.

Pumpkin Spice Granola

Pumpkin spice and all things nice!

Need a fall hostess gift? Easy meal prep? This Pumpkin Spice Granola is your answer! It hits all the fall feels without tasting like a Bath and Body Works Candle. We load this granola up with pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. We also started to add dried cranberry… it is delicious. (more…)

Savoury French Toast

A twist on your sweet french toast! This savoury french toast is made with eggs, Grass Fed Heritage Milk & Butter, parmeson cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Serve it topped with avocado, a drippy egg and bacon! We also love some fresh tomatoes and a sprinkle of cheddar.

Healthy Pumpkin Muffins

A small break between our thanksgiving stretchy pants and Halloween candy has us craving healthy but satisfying snack options.

These pumpkin muffins are made with Heritage Vanilla Yogurt and sweetened with maple syrup.. the perfect pair with your morning coffee! Make sure to freeze them or eat them up within a day or two for maximum deliciousness. (more…)

Cheese Burger Soup

There are many versions of the indulgent Cheese Burger Soup, but this is our favourite. Its hearty, loaded with ground beef, and veggies,  and creamy with the addition of our Grass Fed Heritage Milk.  We use a combination of cheddar and Velveeta cheese to get the taste just right.

Make sure to add all the toppings. We love to add a dollup of Heritage Natural Yogurt or Sour Cream and Chives. But we have also added bacon bits and extra cheddar. SO good!

Apple Cheddar Scone

These scones are simple to make and are great for breakfast or with soup for lunch! Our favourite is to use a combo of aged cheddar with ambrosia apples. Since these scones are so simple, the cheese and apples really shine! Opt for your favourite good-quality cheese.

Pumpkin Pie Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This recipe came to life when I accidentally bought canned pumpkin pie filling instead of canned pumpkin! After playing around with different sugar and filling ratios, it turns out, it makes for a deliciously flavourful cake. With the addition of Grass Fed Heritage Yogurt and Butter it is perfectly moist.   Pair it with our silky smooth cream cheese frosting and it is a fantastic fall treat!

Oat Apple Spice Muffins

These Oat Apple Spice Muffins taste like fall! They are hearty and filling and taste of light apple and warming spices.  They are filled with the goodness of rolled oats, Grass Fed Heritage Milk and Yogurt and topped with a dusting of cinnamon sugar.  This recipe makes 20 muffins. We love to freeze them, and eat them freshly warmed up with a generous smear of butter.

10 Minute Naan Bread

We love Half Baked Harvests Naan Bread! It’s so good made with our Heritage Grass Fed Yogurt. BUT, we don’t always have the time to make it. (And we don’t always think that far ahead to allow time for the dough to rise LOL!)  This 10 minute Naan bread is just 5 ingredients and takes 10 minutes to make!

All you will need is Grass Fed Heritage Natural Yogurt, Flour, Salt, Baking Powder and Grass Fed Heritage Sea Salted Butter!  Be sure to roll the dough out thin, and cook it in a generous amount of butter!
