Green Mint Smoothie

A whole lot of goodness goes into this smoothie! Yogurt, milk, avocado, banana and spinach! When we have it, we add in some fresh mint leaves, otherwise Peppermint Extract will do. Add in a handful of Chocolate Chips for a real treat. Refreshing and Delicious!

Apple Feta Salad with Yogurt Poppyseed Dressing

This apple feta salad is fresh and light paired with our yogurt poppyseed dressing.  It is wonderful for lunch or as a side for dinner with chicken or steak.

Brown Sugar Butter Toasted Walnuts

The perfect addition to your salad and equally delicious to snack on during dinner prep! These Brown Sugar Butter Toasted Walnuts come together in just 5 minutes and will be a new favourite.

We add a dash of cayenne to these, we love the the sweet and spice!

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp Donia Farms Sea Salted Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp cinnamon
  • Dash Cayenne Pepper
  • 2/3 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Servings: Cup
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add spices. Once combined add walnuts and stir to coat.
  2. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and spread over parchment or paper towel to cool.
  3. Serve over a salad. Enjoy!

Browned Butter Banana Bread

It seems so often a bundle of bananas goes brown on us. This browned butter banana bread is the perfect solution! It has warm hints of cinnamon and nutmeg and the addition of walnuts, coconut and  (of course) chocolate chips! Orange Cranberry Yogurt Muffins

Left over cranberries from the holidays in your freezer? Use them in these yummy Orange Cranberry Yogurt Muffins! So good served still warm with a generous spread of butter.

They are topped with additional cranberries, an orange slice and an extra sprinkle of sugar giving them the perfect muffin top. This recipe makes 10 large muffins. We like to bake only 6 muffins at a time to allow them to rise with out baking into each other.
