Happy World Milk Day!

We will be celebrating with some Fun Pops and a tall glass of our Grass Fed Heritage milk!

These fun pops are easier to make than you would think. We skip a step by using a box of yellow cake mix! Check out our Instagram Reels for a quick video of the process!

All you will need is:

Box of yellow Cake Mix
Donia Farms Unsalted Butter
Donia Farms Milk (3.25% or 2%
Icing Sugar
Semi Sweet Chocolate
Sprinkles for Decorating
Popsicle or Sucker Sticks!

Have fun with the decorating! We love to do sprinkles,  or add in mini chocolate chips to the cake!

Ingredients
Cake
  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix Betty Crocker
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Donia Farms Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 Cup Donia Farms Grass-Fed Milk 3.25% OR 2%
  • Mini Chocolate Chips Optional
Icing
  • 1/2 Cup Donia Farms Unsalted Butter Room Temperature
  • 3 Cups Icing Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Donia Farms Grass-Fed Milk
  • 1 Tsp Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch Salt
Chocolate Dip
  • 8 Oz Semi Sweet Chocolate
  • 2 Tsp Donia Farms Grass Fed Butter

Instructions
  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan and set aside.
  2. Make the Cake following the directions on the back of the box. Substituting butter for oil, and water for milk.
  3. While the cake bakes, make the icing. Combine all ingredients with a stand mixer or handheld mixer. Whip for 3 - 5 minutes or until smooth and light. Set aside.
  4. When the cake is cool, crumble it with your hands and place it in a large mixing bowl. Add icing and beat to combine thoroughly. Fold in mini chocoalte chips if using.
  5. Form and roll cake balls approximately 1 Tbsp in size. (A cookie scoop makes this quicker!) insert popsicle or sucker sticks into cake balls. Tip: Freeze cake balls for approximately 20 - 30 minutes to make easy chocolate dipping!
  6. Melt Chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl or over the stove. Dip chocolate balls and then roll in sprinkles if desired.
  7. Allow chocolate to set completely on parchment paper. and enjoy! Store in the refrigerator for best keeping.
