
Stay home and brunch! This Blueberry Almond French Toast Casserole is an easy crowd pleaser. Your family will thank you.
Serve it with a dollop of our Heritage Vanilla Yogurt, a drizzle of maple syrup and orange slices on the side. We highly recommend a tall glass of milk for tour littles and a mimosa for you! Cheers!
Ingredients
- 1 French Loaf day old, see note*
- 6 Eggs
- 2 Cups Donia Farms 3.25% Grass-Fed Milk
- 4 Tbsp Granulated White Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Donia Farms Vanilla Yogurt
- 3/4 Tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tsp Almond Extract
- 1 Cup Blueberries Fresh or Frozen
- 1/4 Cup Sliced Almonds
- Icing Sugar For Topping

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 x 13 pan and set aside.
- Chop loaf into 1/2 - 1 inch cubes and set aside
- In medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, yogurt, sugar, cinnamon, zest and almond extract.
- Add half of the bread into the greased pan. Pour half of the egg/milk mixture over the bread. Add half of the berries of the soaked bread.
- Repeat step 4 with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, take our casserole and top with sliced almonds. Continue baking for additional 25 - 35 minutes. Bread will be golden brown on top and casserole will feel just set. If almonds of bread is toasting too fast, cover with foil.
- Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with dollop of vanilla yogurt and maple syrup. Serve with orange slices. Enjoy!
- *If bread is fresh, after cubing spread onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 3 minutes before soaking in milk/egg mixture.
