Apple Feta Salad with Yogurt Poppyseed Dressing

This apple feta salad is fresh and light paired with our yogurt poppyseed dressing.  It is wonderful for lunch or as a side for dinner with chicken or steak.

The addition of walnut is a MUST. You can add raw, but we love to toast ours in a little butter, brown sugar and cayenne. So good! Find the recipe here.

The dressing keeps well in the fridge for several days. We like to meal prep our lunches for the week and this salad is on repeat all year.

Ingredients
Yogurt Poppyseed Dressing
  • 3/4 Cup Donia Farms Heritage Natural Yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Sherry Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Poppy Seeds
Salad
  • 8 Cups Spring Mix Salad
  • 1 Apple (We prefer Ambrosia or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/4- 1/3 Cup Sweet Onion
  • 1/4 - 1/3 Cup Walnuts or Pecans
  • 1/4 - 1/3 Cup Feta Cheese
Servings:
Instructions
  1. Whisk all Dressing Ingredients together and refrigerate.
  2. Combine all Salad ingredients, reserving some for Topping. Serve dressing alongside. Enjoy!
