Strawberry Fields Salad

We love a salad that’s big on flavour!¬† This is a great salad to prep all the toppings and serve “salad bar” style. That way everyone can add as much or as little as they want. For me, I’m all about the toppings… the more the better!

Have you ever grated your feta? Its a great option, and for some salads, like this spinach based salad, it helps to prevent the cheese from settling to the bottom of your plate, and “sticks” to the leaves better. Give it a try!


Strawberries, chopped

Apples, chopped (optional)


Onion, thinly sliced

Avocado, thinly sliced

Chopped walnuts OR sliced almonds



  1. Make the salad dressing and place in the fridge until ready to use. (Alternatively, use a store bought poppyseed dressing)

    Prepare the salad toppings: Chop the strawberries, cucumber and apple. Thinly slice the onion and avocado. Chop the nuts. Grate the feta cheese.

  2. Serve “salad bar” style.¬† Allow guests to build their own salad. Starting with a base of spinach and adding the desired toppings. Our recommendation, adding all of them!
