If you are wanting to make your mornings easier (and more tasty!), make our Strawberries & Cream Chia Parfaits ASAP! Its easy to make, delicious and nutritious. That’s what we call a win-win-win 🙂
To make this all you need is Our Grass Fed Heritage Vanilla Yogurt. (Our natural also substitutes well!), our grass fed milk, strawberries, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla and chia seeds. I love to add a bit of whipped cream to the top also. Its not needed but really makes it taste like strawberries and cream!
The reason our Vanilla Yogurt works so well in this recipe is because there is no added sugar. This means you dont get a super sweet yogurt parfait when you add in the fruit. I think that the touch of maple syrup in the chia layer gives the perfect sweetness, but you can adjust more or less to your liking. (If you are adding the whipping cream this will also add a bit of sweetness)
You can easily prep the parfaits in little jars, or simply keep the container of chia pudding handy in the fridge to make parfaits as you go.
Ingredients
Donia Farms Milk (3.25 or 2% works well)
Chopped strawberries, plus additional for topping
Donia Farms Vanilla Yogurt, plus more to build your parfaits
Maple syrup
Vanilla extract
Chia Seeds
Whipped cream (freshly whipped or in a can) for topping
Instructions

In a blender, add strawberries, milk, maple syrup and vanilla and beat until smooth.

Add the milk mixture and yogurt to a container with a lid and mix until smooth. Then add in the chia seeds and mix well. Place in the fridge overnight. (or at least 5 hours)

The next day, make your parfaits! To do so, layer our Grass Fed heritage yogurt with the strawberry chia pudding. Top with fresh chopped berries and a dollop of whipped cream. Note: if you are meal prepping for the week, add the whipped cream right before or the day of.
