Donia Farms unsalted Butter
Donia Farms 3.25% Milk
Donia Farms Grated Cheddar Cheese, shredded, plus additional for topping
Velveeta cheese, cubed
*If you prefer to not use Velveeta you can sub 1.5 cups of shredded Swiss Cheese!
Paprika, for topping.
Cook macaroni noodles to al dente. Meanwhile, preheat the oven and grease a 9 x 13 baking dish or large round skillet lightly with butter.
In a large stock pot, add the butter over medium heat and stir until melted. Slowly add the flour and whisk to combine. Then, gradually add the milk, whisking well until smooth and the sauce thickens. Add in the salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and both cheeses. Continue to stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the cottage cheese.
Add the noodles to the baking dish and pour your cheese sauce over top. Stir to make sure the sauce is covering all the noodles. Top the dish with a sprinkle of extra cheese, and sprinkle paprika generously overtop.
Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden on top. Enjoy!
