Garlicky Baked Shrimp

Category: Lunch & Dinner
Best for: Dinner
Serves: 4-6

We love an easy dinner, and this Garlicky Baked Shrimp is so fast to make! (just 10 minutes!) It is cooked in garlic and white wine, and topped with a sprinkle of buttery panko. Finish it off with fresh lemon juice and herbs.

Serve it as is with a side of roasted vegetables. Or, our favourite is to top buttered linguini pasta noodles with these baked shrimp! Make Baked Garlicy Shrimp as your next simple weekday dinner.

Pro Tip: If buttery panko is up your ally, make 1.5 times the panko/butter mixture. You won’t regret it!

1 1/2 lbs

Raw shrimp (peeled and de veined)

Garlic cloves (peeled and minced)

3 Tbsp

White wine

Kosher salt

Black pepper

1/2 cup

Panko bread crumbs

1-2 Tbsp

Fresh squeezed lemon juice

2 Tbsp

Fresh parsley or basil

  1. Preheat oven to 425

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add the shrimp, garlic and white wine. Toss to combine. Transfer the shrimp to a baking dish in an even layer and season with Salt and Pepper.
  3. Rinse out the same bowl, and add the melted butter and bread crumbs. Using a fork, combine the ingredients. Next, use your fingers to bread the crumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  4. Transfer baking dish to the oven and bake for 7 minutes, or until the shrimp are just starting to turn pink.
  5. Switch setting to broil, and broil shrimp and another 2 – 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and bread crumbs golden.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice and top with fresh herbs.
    1. Serve immediately and enjoy!
