Garlicky Baked Shrimp

We love an easy dinner, and this Garlicky Baked Shrimp is so fast to make! (just 10 minutes!) It is cooked in garlic and white wine, and topped with a sprinkle of buttery panko. Finish it off with fresh lemon juice and herbs.

Serve it as is with a side of roasted vegetables. Or, our favourite is to top buttered linguini pasta noodles with these baked shrimp! Make Baked Garlicy  Shrimp as your next simple weekday dinner.

Green Mint Smoothie

A whole lot of goodness goes into this smoothie! Yogurt, milk, avocado, banana and spinach! When we have it, we add in some fresh mint leaves, otherwise Peppermint Extract will do. Add in a handful of Chocolate Chips for a real treat. Refreshing and Delicious!

Loaf Pan Popsicles

Easy, pretty and healthy! These Loaf Pan Popsicles are made with just yogurt and fruit! For the top layer, we use mango, middle layer strawberries, and the bottom layer blackberries. Play around with different fruits for a fun, striped treat!

Orange Creamsicle Smoothie

Orange Creamsicles are a childhood favourite, and so are these healthy smoothies! They are easy to make, being just yogurt, milk, 2 oranges, a frozen banana and a touch of maple syrup.

We have picky eaters at our house, and these smoothies are a solution to get some fresh fruit into our kids.

Sausage & Spinach Egg Bites

I love easy make-ahead breakfasts! These Sausage and Spinach Eggs bites are good enough even my 1-year-old will eat some greens at breakfast. They are made with Italian Sausage, onions, spinach, eggs and milk.  When the kids are having them, we use Mild Italian Sausage, but I love to make a batch with Spicy Sausage for myself.

Try sprinkling the tops with a bit of cheddar before baking. It’s extra delicious!

Who doesn’t love Skor Chocolate Bars? Chocolate and Toffee.. now combine that into a cookie… You’re going to love it. It’s a chocolate chip cookie, amped up.  When it’s someone’s birthday, we love to bake them a batch of cookies and these Skor Cookies are ALWAYS a hit. Sprinkle a dash of sea salt on top for the salt lover in your life!

Strawberry Milk

 

Do you remember strawberry milk as kid?  The syrup kind that came in a plastic bottle and it probably lived in the pantry? Well, this is so much better than that!

Homemade Strawberry Syrup with a touch of vanilla, paired with Heritage Grass Fed Milk… need we say more?

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Chopped Strawberries Fresh or Frozen
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
Servings:
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the berries and sugar. Continue to stir and mash the berries to release the juices. Once near boiling, and when you have a significant amount of juice, stir in the vanilla and cornstarch.
  2. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Using a small strainer or sifter, separate the berries from the syrup. - Save the berries for a waffle topper or sweet yogurt topper! - Add the syrup to a small container to store in the fridge until ready to use.
  3. Add the desired amount of Strawberry Syrup to Milk. Stir and Enjoy!

Greek Chicken Kabobs

Have you used yogurt as a marinade before? It is a great ingredient to tenderize meat! These Greek Chicken kabobs are marinated in yogurt and are a favourite when the sun is shining. Serve them with a greek salad, tzatziki and pita bread, or try the chicken in a greek wrap!
