Better Hamburger Helper
The perfect dinner for those busy weeknights, and a hit with even the pickiest eaters! This homemade hamburger helper is better then the box and much lower in sodium.
  • 1Lbs Ground Beef
  • 1/2Cup Diced Onions
  • 1Tablespoon Donia Farms Butter
  • 2Cups Donai Farms 3.25% Grass-Fed Milk
  • 1Cup Cold Water
  • 2Cups MacaroniUncooked
  • 1/2Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2Teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • 1/4Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 3/4Teaspoon Oregano
  • 3/4Teaspoon Parsely
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 2Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  1. Over medium heat in a large skillet brown the meat until it is nearly done.
  2. Once the meat is nearly done, add the Onions and continue cooking until the onions are tender.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the cheese till thoroughly combined. Yes, that includes the pasta.
  4. Once that is all mixed bring it to a boil for 8-10 minutes, or until the pasta is done, you will need to stir occasionally.
  5. Once the pasta is done, remove it from the heat (your sauce may be thin). Stir in the cheese and then let it sit for a few minutes this will allow the sauce to thicken up.
  6. Serve with a green salad and Enjoy
